How does the AI fundamental analysis work?
- Open a position in your dashboard and choose AI Analysis.
- PortfolioTrackr gathers the fundamentals it holds for that ticker: valuation ratios, margins, debt and cash signals, the 52-week range, analyst consensus and beta, plus your entry price and target levels.
- Claude writes four short paragraphs: a valuation assessment, a financial-health check, market positioning with analyst sentiment and risk, and a one-line verdict on the overall picture.
- The result is cached for 24 hours per ticker, so re-opening it is instant. It is written fresh the next day.

What is in the AI portfolio report?
The report is one written document about your whole portfolio, generated from the positions, prices and dividend figures already in your account. It always uses the same ten sections, in this order:
- Executive Summary
- Holdings & Concentration, which flags when one holding or the top three carry too much weight
- Performance, naming the best and worst performers and whether returns come from a few names or broad participation
- Risk Profile
- Income & Dividends, only where your positions pay dividends
- Sector & Thematic Exposure

- Watch Items
- Verdict
The report uses only the real numbers from your data and is instructed never to invent a figure and never to give a direct buy or sell recommendation.
How do I add a trade by voice, text or screenshot?
- Choose Smart & Easy Import from Add Position, on the web or in the app.
- Give it the trade in whichever form you have: speak it, type a sentence like "sold 40 MSFT at 410", or drop the broker's confirmation screenshot.
- Check the filled form and save. The AI fills ticker, shares, price and date, and detects long versus short from the wording. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
Screenshots are read in memory and never written to disk. Voice is transcribed on your device, so only text leaves it. The same import also logs sells and cost basis, and it works with any broker's format. More on screenshot import on the blog.
