The PortfolioTrackr app is the native iPhone and Android version of the PortfolioTrackr portfolio tracker. It is live on the App Store and Google Play, shares one account and one dashboard with the web app, and adds what a phone does best: biometric login, push alerts and swipe gestures.

What does the PortfolioTrackr app include?
Everything the web dashboard does, in a native app built in Flutter. Live prices and real-time profit and loss in your own currency, multiple portfolios, dividends, smart targets, the watchlist, and the AI features: fundamental analysis, the portfolio report and trade import by voice, text or screenshot.
- Biometric login. Face ID and Touch ID on iPhone, fingerprint on Android, with tokens kept in the phone's secure enclave.
- Push notifications. Every price target and stop loss, delivered even when the app is closed.
- Swipe gestures. Swipe left on a position to sell or cover, swipe right to see its fundamentals.
- Broker sync from your phone. Connect Alpaca, Bybit or Interactive Brokers directly and sync on demand.
- Real-time sync with the web. Add a position anywhere, see it everywhere.
- Dark and light mode. Follows your system setting or your own choice.
How to set up the app in four steps
- Install it from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in with the account you use on the web, or create one with email, Google or Apple. New accounts start a 3-day free trial with no credit card.
- Turn on the biometric lock and push notifications in Settings, so alerts reach you and nobody else opens your portfolio.
- Load your positions by voice, text or a broker screenshot with Smart & Easy Import, or connect a broker on Pro or Lifetime.
Do alerts fire when the app is closed?
Yes. Price watching happens on PortfolioTrackr's servers, not on your phone, so a closed app changes nothing. When a target or stop loss is hit, the push notification arrives within a minute. Does PortfolioTrackr have a home screen widget?
Yes. PortfolioTrackr has a home screen widget called Portfolio Glance, on iPhone and on Android, plus three lock screen widgets on iPhone. It shows the value of your stocks, ETFs and crypto without opening the app, and you choose what sits underneath the total.
- On iPhone. Small and medium home screen widgets, plus three lock screen widgets: rectangular, circular and inline. The app requires iOS 17 or newer.
- On Android. A home screen widget from 2×2 upwards. It settles at 4×2 by default and you can resize it in both directions. Android has no lock screen widgets, so on Android the widget lives on the home screen.
- Your metrics. The total value is always shown. Underneath it you pick up to two of these: today's change, all-time P&L, amount invested, or your top mover.
- Your portfolio. Point the widget at a single portfolio, or at all of them combined.
- Hide amounts. Masks the numbers on the widget, so your balance is not readable over your shoulder.
Set it up in the app under Settings, then Home-screen widget. On iPhone you can also press and hold a widget you have already placed and choose Edit Widget to set each one up separately. Tapping the widget opens the app at that portfolio; from the lock screen you unlock first.
Can I sync a broker from my phone?
Broker sync is on Pro and Lifetime. That covers both the direct connections (Alpaca, Bybit, Interactive Brokers) and the SnapTrade bridge (35 brokers, including Charles Schwab and Kraken). The 3-day free trial does not include broker sync, but it does include AI and CSV import, so you can load your positions and try everything else first. Details on the brokers page.
Which plan do I need for the app?
Any plan, including the free trial. The plan belongs to your account, not to a device, so the app and the web dashboard always agree.
