Getting Started
What is PortfolioTrackr? +
PortfolioTrackr is a personal investment portfolio tracking tool that lets you monitor stocks, crypto, ETFs, and commodities in one place. It shows live prices, calculates your profit and loss, tracks your full trade history, and sends price alerts when your targets or stop loss levels are hit — via email, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, and browser push notifications.
Is there a free trial? +
Yes. All new accounts get a free 3-day trial with full access to portfolio tracking features. No credit card required. After the trial ends, you can subscribe to a paid plan or your account switches to read-only access.
What assets can I track? +
You can track US stocks (NYSE, NASDAQ), UAE stocks (ADX, DFM), cryptocurrencies, ETFs, commodities (gold, oil, etc.), and any other asset by entering a custom ticker. Prices are pulled automatically from global market data providers.
How accurate are the prices? +
Prices are sourced from global market data providers and may be delayed by up to 15 minutes for stock markets. Cryptocurrency prices are generally near real-time. All prices are for indicative and personal tracking purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for trading decisions.

How much does PortfolioTrackr cost? +
We offer three paid plans after the free trial:

Starter — $9/month: Portfolio tracking + email, WhatsApp, Telegram & push alerts (1 portfolio)
Pro — $19/month: Everything in Starter + up to 5 portfolios, portfolio sharing, combined view, SMS alerts, CSV/PDF import/export, watchlist
Lifetime — $299 once: Everything in Pro, unlimited portfolios, forever — no recurring charges
What is the Lifetime plan? +
The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment of $299 that gives you permanent access to all Pro features — plus unlimited portfolios — with no monthly fees ever. All future features are also included at no extra cost. It's the best value for long-term users.
Can I cancel my subscription? +
Yes, cancel anytime from Account Settings → Subscription. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Do you offer refunds? +
We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods. However, if you have an issue with your subscription, contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Alerts & Notifications
How do price alerts work? +
For each position you can set a Target 1, Target 2, and Stop Loss price. When the live price hits any of these levels, PortfolioTrackr sends you an alert immediately on all your enabled channels. Alerts fire once per day per target to avoid notification spam.
How do I set up WhatsApp alerts? +
Go to Notification Settings in your dashboard and enable WhatsApp. Then:

1. Enter your WhatsApp phone number and click Save
2. Send "join slight-spent" from your WhatsApp to +1 415 523 8886
3. Click "I've done it" to confirm

You'll receive price alerts directly in WhatsApp from that point on. This one-time opt-in is required by Twilio's WhatsApp sandbox.
How do I set up Telegram alerts? +
Go to Notification Settings and click "Generate My Code" under Telegram. You'll get a 6-digit code. Then open @portfoliotrackr_bot on Telegram and send the code. The bot confirms instantly and your account is linked.
What countries are SMS alerts available in? +
SMS alerts are currently available for US (+1) and UK (+44) phone numbers only. WhatsApp and Telegram alerts work worldwide with no country restrictions and are available on the Starter plan.
How often do alerts fire? +
Alerts fire once per day per target. So if AAPL hits your Target 1, you get one alert for that day. This prevents your inbox from being flooded if the price stays at the target level all day.
Data & Privacy
Is my portfolio data private? +
Yes. Your portfolio data is private to your account only. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. We use HTTPS encryption and hashed passwords. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do you use tracking cookies? +
No. We use only one essential session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no Google Analytics, no third-party cookies of any kind. See our Cookie Policy.
Can I export my portfolio data? +
Yes. Pro and Lifetime plan users can export their full portfolio to CSV format at any time from the dashboard. You can also import a CSV to migrate from another tracker.
How do I delete my account? +
Go to Account Settings → Profile and click "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your data including positions, trades, and personal information. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Portfolio Features
Can I manage multiple portfolios separately? +
Yes. Pro plan supports up to 5 fully isolated portfolios; Lifetime plan supports unlimited portfolios. Each portfolio has its own P&L chart, sector allocation, dividend tracker, sell log, and trade history — completely separated from your other portfolios. You switch between them instantly using the portfolio switcher at the top of the dashboard.
What is the "ALL PORTFOLIOS" combined view? +
The 📊 ALL PORTFOLIOS view aggregates all your portfolios into a single read-only dashboard. You see a combined P&L chart (all portfolios aggregated by date), total sector allocation across all holdings, combined dividends, and a unified trade log where every row is tagged with its portfolio badge. This gives you a complete picture of your total investment performance without switching between portfolios. Available on Pro and Lifetime plans.
How does Smart & Easy Import work? +
Smart & Easy Import gives you three ways to add a position or log a trade without any manual typing. Click Smart & Easy Import from the Add or Sell picker and choose your method: speak your trade using the mic button and the app transcribes it instantly, type a sentence like "bought 200 EMAAR at 4.10" and the AI fills every field, or drop or paste a broker screenshot and the AI reads the ticker, shares, price and date automatically. You can review and edit the values before confirming. Works with any broker format. Available on the free trial, Pro, and Lifetime plans.
Can I share my portfolio with someone else? +
Yes. From the dashboard settings menu, you can generate a unique read-only share link for any portfolio. Anyone with the link can view your live positions, P&L, allocation and dividends — but they cannot make any changes, and they don't need a PortfolioTrackr account to view it. You can revoke the link at any time from settings. Available on Pro and Lifetime plans.
Does PortfolioTrackr support two-factor authentication (2FA)? +
Yes. You can enable TOTP-based 2FA from your account settings. This works with any authenticator app including Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password. Once enabled, you'll be prompted to enter a 6-digit code each time you log in. 2FA is available on all plans at no extra cost.
How do I import my trades from a broker CSV? +
Go to your dashboard and click Add Position → Smart & Easy Import. Upload a CSV file from your broker with columns for ticker, quantity, entry price, and optionally: asset name, exchange, target prices, and stop loss. PortfolioTrackr maps the columns automatically. Smart & Easy Import (voice, text, screenshot) is included in your free trial as well as Pro and Lifetime plans.
Is the watchlist separate from my portfolios? +
Yes. The watchlist is shared across all your portfolios — it's the one element that isn't isolated per portfolio. This makes it easy to keep track of tickers you're watching regardless of which portfolio you're viewing. All other data (P&L, dividends, allocation, trade history) is fully isolated per portfolio.
