Our Cookie Philosophy
We keep it simple. PortfolioTrackr sets a handful of small cookies, all of them ours: two keep you logged in, the rest remember choices you made. We have no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, and no third-party cookies of any kind.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use them only where strictly necessary to make the Service work.

Cookies We Use
PHPSESSID
Essential
Keeps you logged in while you use the dashboard. Lasts 30 days, or until you log out. Required for the Service to function.
pt_remember
Essential
Set when you tick “Remember me” at sign-in or “Don’t ask again on this browser” at 2FA sign-in. Signs you back in without a password for 30 days. Cleared when you log out.
pt_last_auth
Preference
Remembers which sign-in method you used last (password, Google or Apple) so the login page can offer it first. Lasts 1 year.
signup_intent_plan
Preference
Remembers the plan you clicked on the pricing page so the signup form can pre-select it. Lasts 1 hour.
pt_ft
Attribution
Remembers the page or campaign that first brought you to PortfolioTrackr, so we know which of our own marketing works. First-party only, never shared. Lasts 90 days.
aff_ref
Attribution
Set only if you arrive through an affiliate link, so the affiliate is credited if you subscribe. Lasts 30 days.
pt_offer
Preference
Set only if you arrive through a promotional offer link, so the offer is applied at checkout. Lasts 30 days.
That is the full list for customers. Staff who sign in to our internal admin pages get one more; customers never do.

What We Do NOT Use
We do not use any of the following:
- Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party cookies of any kind
- Fingerprinting or device tracking technologies

Managing Cookies
The two login cookies are essential: disabling cookies in your browser will prevent you from logging in to PortfolioTrackr. The other cookies are optional; blocking them costs you nothing but the remembered choice. The public pages (home, FAQ, pricing) are accessible without cookies.
Logging out clears the login cookies and invalidates your session on our server.
