PortfolioTrackr 2026 Update: Multiple Portfolios, AI Import & Portfolio Sharing
We've shipped the most significant update to PortfolioTrackr since launch. Four major features that serious investors have been requesting — fully isolated multiple portfolios, AI-powered trade import from screenshots, a combined ALL PORTFOLIOS view, and secure read-only portfolio sharing. Here's everything that's new.
1. Fully isolated multiple portfolios
The most requested feature on our roadmap is now live. PortfolioTrackr Pro supports up to 5 completely isolated portfolios. Lifetime plan supports unlimited portfolios.
What "isolated" means in practice: Every dashboard panel — P&L chart, sector allocation, dividends, sell log, trade history — is scoped entirely to the active portfolio. Switching portfolios isn't a filter; it's a separate data context. The same ticker in two portfolios never gets merged. Your AAPL in your ISA has different entry prices, different targets, different realised P&L, and a completely separate history from any AAPL in your trading account.
The watchlist is the only intentionally shared element across portfolios. Everything else is fully isolated.
How to use it: Click your portfolio name in the dashboard header to open the portfolio switcher. Click "+ New Portfolio", give it a name and an emoji icon, and you're immediately in a fresh portfolio. Import a CSV, drop a screenshot, or add positions manually to populate it.
2. ALL PORTFOLIOS combined view
Isolation is great for per-strategy analysis. But sometimes you need the full picture — total net worth, total dividends, total trade history across everything. Select 📊 ALL PORTFOLIOS from the portfolio switcher and the entire dashboard switches to a read-only combined view:
- P&L chart aggregates all portfolio snapshots by date — your complete investment history in one chart
- Sector allocation shows your total exposure across all holdings in all portfolios
- Dividend panel totals income across every dividend-paying position you own, anywhere
- Trade log shows every buy and sell across all portfolios with portfolio badges on each row
- Position cards carry portfolio badges so you never lose track of where a holding sits
Combined view is intentionally read-only. The Add, Sell, and Import buttons are disabled. Switch to a specific portfolio to make changes.
3. AI trade import from broker screenshots
Open the Sell / Log Trade modal and you'll see a new drop zone at the top: DROP / PASTE SCREENSHOT. Take a screenshot of any broker's trade confirmation — the email, the in-app notification, the PDF — and drop it on the zone (or paste with Ctrl+V). The AI reads the image and fills in the ticker, shares, execution price, and date automatically.
It works with any broker's format. Interactive Brokers, Schwab, Robinhood, Saxo, Emirates NBD, Trading 212 — if a human can read the confirmation, the AI can read it. Fields are marked as AI-populated so you know which to double-check before confirming. The image is never stored — it's processed and discarded immediately.
For most active traders, this eliminates 90% of manual trade entry. Combined with CSV bulk import for historical positions, it means your trade history stays current without friction.
4. Read-only portfolio sharing
From the settings menu in your dashboard, you can now generate a unique read-only share link for any portfolio. Anyone with the link sees your live positions, P&L, sector allocation, and dividends — but cannot make any changes and doesn't need a PortfolioTrackr account.
Use cases: showing your advisor your current positions, sharing your portfolio with a partner, posting your holdings publicly, or accountability tracking with a fellow investor. Each portfolio has its own independent share link. Revoke any link from settings at any time.
5. 2FA with TOTP
Two-factor authentication is now available on all plans. Enable it from Account Settings → Security. Scan the QR code in any TOTP-compatible app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) and you'll be prompted for a 6-digit code on every login. Sessions have a 5-minute window to complete 2FA, preventing abandoned login sessions from remaining open.
What this means for competitors
These features close the gap with Sharesight on multi-portfolio support — at a significantly lower price point ($19/month vs $31+/month). AI screenshot import is a capability that doesn't exist in Sharesight, Kubera, or Yahoo Finance. Portfolio sharing with a live read-only link is available in Kubera but not in most dedicated stock trackers.
The combination of UAE market support (ADX/DFM), WhatsApp/Telegram alerts, AI trade import, multiple portfolios, and portfolio sharing in a single tool at $19/month is genuinely new in the market.
What's on the roadmap
We're continuing to build. Near-term focus includes automatic broker statement import (beyond CSV), expanded UAE market data, and enhanced dividend forecasting with historical dividend growth rates. Existing subscribers get all features as they ship — including Lifetime plan holders, forever.
